The InnerFight Way

Free run clubs have exploded over the last 24 months which is epic.
They’re getting people moving, creating community, and for some, even building friendships or finding a life partner. We have to love it, chapeau to everyone who goes to one or who started one.
But wait a second, what actually are these run clubs? What is their objective? Why do they exist? For sure they create connection, belonging and if you keep showing up consistently some form of improvement.
Perhaps the more harsh reality for many is that the matchy-matchy outfits, latest running tech, finished off with the never ending search for the best almond croissant and the skinny flat white (extra hot) is great but it is not really preparing better runners. If your goal is community, then a free run club delivers.
If your goal is to become a better runner, then you need more. You need structure, purpose, knowledge and a plan that is focussed on delivering running.
Both have value. Just be clear which one you’re chasing.
No Weakness.
