Welcome to January. The month of “I have the best new health and fitness program on the planet…..and this is going to be the best year of my life.”

The volume is high and sometimes we fail to see the absolute BS that it arrives with. In the moment we forget the same record playing out 12 months ago and the fact that it didn’t work then either.

Instead there is a temptation to question things, ourselves, our programs. Before you do keep reading.

How are things going? Maybe the simplest question in the black book, but please, answer it.

This is my 31st January coaching. That is a lot of data on massive overhauls that often do not work. My black book says you may not need to change too much. The program is probably most excellent. The community is probably correct. The main thing we need to tweak in most cases is consistency.

Forget about huge changes. Just show up more consistently in 2026 and the medicine will work just fine.
