September Members of the Month 2026

InnerFight: Mohamed Rady

Mohamed has been a shining example of consistency. Balancing shift work at the hospital and still getting results with his training. He has made solid improvements in body composition and significant improvements in his strength, especially in relation to his pull up capacity.

Congratulations Mohamed!

‍

Youth: Emilio Laghi

Emilio gives 100% every session and is always pushing himself to get better. His hard work and consistency are really paying off, recently hitting a new deadlift PB!!

Keep up the great work Emilio, you’re smashing it!

‍

Endurance: Karen Nicol

24 hours. 173km. 3,000m elevation. 2nd place overall. 1st place female. A huge result at Glenmore 24 hour trail race

A remarkable 200 weeks of InnerFight Endurance coaching combined with over a decade of consistent endurance training not only enables Kaz to turn in this result but allows her to do many amazing things in life.

Being an incredible mother, wife, daughter, coach, guide runner and human are at the forefront of everything she does.

We are proud of you Kazzy! No Weakness.

‍

LRC: Emma Buckley

This month we celebrate Emma Buckley who is our LRC Member of the Month for September. Emma is currently training relentlessly for her marathon in a few weeks in Cape Town. Emma has a high demand job, with lots of travel and two little boys, who of course also need her attention. Emma’s leaning into the process, executing sessions, and staying present in the training block. Well done Emma. No Weakness.

‍

Endurance - New Zealand: Vicki Fleming

Congratulations to Vicki Fleming for being our Member of the Month for September 🔥

Vicki has worked super hard to build herself towards Melbourne Marathon. She’s been building her aerobic engine, developing her strength, and learning what her body needs to handle the demands of 42.2km.

What I love about Vicki’s training is the level of detail she puts into her feedback. Every niggle, mechanical blip, fuelling question and “that felt a bit weird” gets communicated which means we can problem solve, adjust and keep moving forward rather than letting small things become big ones. That process has been a huge part of getting her marathon ready.

There has been plenty of growth beyond the physical too. Vicki is becoming more confident in her ability to handle discomfort, troubleshoot challenges and trust the work she’s putting in in kayaking and running. She doesn’t take no for an answer, and she’s learning to back herself when things get hard.

With Melbourne Marathon next weekend, this build up of months of work is just the beginning of an even bigger journey towards Coast to Coast 2-Day Individual in February.

Vicki, your commitment to the process is bloody awesome to watch. We coach humans, not just performance metrics, and you’re proving exactly why that matters. Enjoy your marathon party!
