September Members of the Month

InnerFight: Stephen Edwards

During September Stephen has shown incredible progress across all areas of his health and fitness. From smashing it in the gym and on the bike to making big changes on the scales, the results are speaking for themselves. But the biggest win, his mindset and approach to being better at life! Keep crushing it!

Youth: Joshua Philippou

Josh shows up to every class ready to work. He’s focused, pushes himself, and continues to make steady progress. He recently hit a new PB on his deadlift, which is a reflection of the effort he puts in week after week.

He’s also a great team player, encouraging others and bringing a solid energy to every session. Whether it’s during a tough workout or partner WOD, he’s someone you want on your team.

Endurance: Chef Jitin Joshi

The world's highest marathon, 3,505m - 5,370m above sea level to celebrate his 50th birthday with absolutely No Weakness. Congratulations to Chef Jitin Joshi on this amazing achievement which he trained for in Dubai during the summer showing us all what is possible in the world of endurance.

Ladies Run Club: Ela Michalides

This month Ela took on Berlin Marathon. She trained hard and worked consistently looking to target a PB. Come race day over in Germany the temperatures soared and the crowds were busy. Ela used her mind to keep believing and also to adapt her race day strategy to the conditions she was served. She ran the course well and attained a 1-minute PB. We are incredibly proud of you. Keep up the good work!

Endurance - Ireland: Charlotte Rispin-Dureul

This has been an epic build-up, and watching you grow into an endurance machine has been incredible to see.

You take on challenges that scare you and back them up with hard work, consistency, and commitment.

We all saw how much it meant to cross that finish line at the Kerry Way 100k, smashing your personal time goal in the process.

Congratulations on being our Member of the Month.

Fully deserved.

Endurance - New Zealand: Brooke Harris

Congratulations to Brooke Harris for being our MOTM for September 🔥

September proved to be a month of accomplishment and pride for Brooke as she nailed her first ever trail run event.

Race Tekapo 32k was an event Brooke wanted to conquer for many reasons. When we set our sights on a particular event it’s often not the actual race we are pursing but the day to day habits, consistency and self regulation that comes with it. Brooke did just that: working hard to show up to every run, completing long runs with dedication, nailing her nutrition early on in training, and working hard on reframing when those pesky ‘I can’t’ thoughts come into your head.

Adversity is something Brooke is no stranger to, she understands discomfort and has worked hard to prove to herself that she can overcome anything thrown her way. Showing up to Track Tuesday two day’s post event is a testament to the habits that she has created over the past few years and the non-negotiables that come with her training.

Brooke, you’re an inspiration to all of us, we know you’re proud of you, but you need to know that we are proud of you too. Thank you for being an absolute legend within our community.
