Ridhwana has absolutely crushed the month of June! Week after week, she’s shown up with relentless consistency, unmatched work ethic, and never a complaint – just pure determination. Her progress has been inspiring, a direct result of giving 100% in every single class. Ridhwana brings not only incredible energy and effort, but also a magnetic smile that lifts the entire room. Keep smashing it, Ridhwana — this is just the beginning!

Youth: ZAID MANSOUR
Congratulations to Zaid Mansour, our Youth Member of the Month for June! Zaid is an original (OG) member of our youth programme, and it's been incredible to watch him grow. From a very young age, he's been dedicated to moving well and building his physical literacy.
Over the past few months, Zaid has truly shone in our kids' class. Not only has he mastered various movements, but he's also emerged as a leader. His skills, focus, and strong work ethic set a fantastic example for his peers. Beyond his impressive physical abilities, Zaid is also incredibly kind, respectful, and always ready to tackle a new challenge. Awesome work, Zaid!

Endurance: HUMAID ALGHANDI
A multiple-time and extremely deserving Member of the Month due to his consistent ability to live life with a Smash Life attitude, and a simple approach to having fun with his training and racing. Humaid picks events that he is excited for and that he knows will challenge him. In June, he chose IRONMAN Hamburg and completed the training and racing The InnerFight Way, showing up to the start line healthy & happy!

Ladies Run Club: STEPH DONALDSON
Steph returned to the motherland this month to take on her 3rd Comrades. This is an 89km road race that is very close to her heart. Steph has worked hard mentally and physically to prepare for this race – not only this past month, but for a number of years. Steph shows up with a smile, is incredibly humble and does not quit. We are very proud to have you in this community, Steph. No weakness.

You set your sights on the podium at The Tucker Trail, and you did it, with grace, grit, and that trademark smile.

Endurance - New Zealand: NICOLE EMSLIE
Congratulations to Nicole Emslie for being our MOTM for June.
Nicole is the definition of someone who has an athlete’s mindset. Anything I throw at her in training is taken in her stride and executed above and beyond what is expected of her. Nicole’s job involves shift work, so being flexible and adaptable is a top priority when it comes to getting a session done, focusing on recovery, and fuelling well.
Nicole is tackling the 2-day individual event at Coast to Coast 2026. Over the month of June, she has levelled up her cycling power, run speed, and set a strong benchmark for her kayaking. Nicole has the drive and determination to find the 1% in every training session she does and is already making huge progress towards her two-day time goal for next year’s race.
This is only the beginning, and we can't wait to see you continue to smash cycling, running, and kayaking as the year goes on, Nicole!
