Members of the Month (July)

InnerFight: JOHANNE TAYLOR
Jo has crushed July! With some small changes in her lifestyle and a renewed focus on being a better version of herself, she has seen tremendous progress in all areas of her health and fitness! It's just the start; keep smashing it, Jo!

Youth: JUSTIN BETZ
Justin Betz is our July Youth Member of the Month!
A dedicated member of our Teens programme, Justin consistently demonstrates an impressive work ethic and focus during every workout. His commitment to mastering proper form and technique has resulted in significant strength gains in recent months.
Beyond his athletic abilities, Justin is an all-round great guy. His positive attitude and willingness to help others make him a pleasure to have as a member of our Teens programme.
Congratulations, Justin! Your hard work and dedication are an inspiration to us all.

Endurance: SYBRAND DEWAAL
Endurance training opens doors in our minds that few other sports can. Some choose to go through those doors and explore what's behind them. Each door opened provides us with a way to get better at life and often shows us another door to open next.
Sybrand, or 'AB', has chosen to start the journey of opening the doors in his mind and the benefits have been very clear. Running at his fastest track paces, hitting consistent power PBs on the bike and showing up with an infectious positive attitude. He is a huge asset to the InnerFight Endurance community and thoroughly deserves member of the month.

Ladies Run Club: TRACY THOMAS
In July, Tracy kicked off her Munich Marathon training with a week in Chamonix at the IFE Training Camp.
Tracy is a hardworking, passionate, and dedicated runner who showed no weakness on the mountains. Despite the increase in elevation and mileage, she always brought her smile and positive approach to life.
Well done, Tracy. The road to Munich is going to be incredible.

Endurance - Ireland: ZITA HAMILTON
This month we want to highlight Zita’s work in navigating her return to running post-injury. Zita has shown great discipline; she has not missed a single session over the last 12 weeks and the results are starting to show. Determined, trusting, and doing all her work with intent.

Endurance - New Zealand: LARISA COCHRANE
Congratulations to Larisa Cochrane for being our Member of the Month for July!
Larisa is no stranger to endurance sport. With many triathlons and Ironmans under her belt it was a pleasure to welcome her into the InnerFight NZ community earlier this year.
Larisa’s focus has been to find her love of running and to do something for herself. She has successfully managed to get key training sessions in despite having two small children and an endurance loving husband to navigate training times with!
This month Larisa began her build to Taupō 70k with training buddy, Nicky. Together they keep each other accountable and plan their long run adventures together as much as possible.
Larisa was in her element at Trail camp, leading at the front and bringing the good vibes out into the trails every day. She is a humble and natural leader and showed everyone else at camp how they can push past their perceived limits and get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
Thank you, Larisa, for what you bring to this community from a far, supporting Nicky and the Waikato coffee run, and always being stoked to be out there on the trails, enjoying life. According to Larisa she has ‘found her people’ within our community, we love having you as a part of our team.
