December Members of the Month

InnerFight: Majdi Marar
Every time Majdi steps onto the gym floor, he does so with a smile, bringing an infectious positivity and supportive energy to every class. December has been no exception; he continues to show up, lift others, and set the tone for those around him.
On top of that, over the past few months, Majdi has achieved an incredible milestone, losing over 8 kg through consistency, commitment, and hard work.
Congratulations, Majdi, and keep crushing it.

Youth: Serena Chamoun
We’re so excited to celebrate Serena as our December Youth Member of the Month!
New to CrossFit and already bringing the energy, Serena jumped in ready to learn, work hard, and push herself. Her consistency, positive attitude, and determination have not gone unnoticed — she shows up, puts in the work, and keeps getting stronger.
We’re proud of you Serena, and can’t wait to see what’s next. Keep crushing it!

Endurance: Maria Erdyneeva
This December we saw Maria complete her first marathon. Maria joined InnerFight just over two years ago as a newbie to running. She has shown insane dedication, commitment to the process and passion not only in this training block for AD marathon, but since she’s been part of the community. Maria is always there to support someone, is eager to learn, and works hard to keep showing up.
Well done Maria, no weakness.

Ladies Run Club: Pip Eastgate
Pip has been working relentlessly towards her HM goal, and in Abu Dhabi this month she successfully completed it! With teammate and good friend, Armelle, they took on AD Marathon as a relay team, each completing 21.1km. Pip keeps her spirits high through the ebbs and flows of training and is a pleasure to have as part of LRC. Keep going Pip, we know you have even more HMs on your radar!

Endurance - New Zealand: Rae McVittie
Rae joined InnerFight earlier this year after quietly running laps of the track alongside our crew… and the rest, as they say, is history. Rae took on Taupō 100k in October earning an huge 2hr+ PB and is now lining up to do it all again with some big goals at TUM100 in February.
December has shown Rae just what hard work produces when it all finally feels like it comes together after the winter training grind. It’s been epic to watch is how Rae has evolved as an athlete. She’s layered in strength training and tempo work to complement those big weekend adventure runs & it’s paying off. She’s hunting down Coach Zoe’s Wildthings leaderboards on long runs AND throwing down some seriously impressive speed on the track. Range? She’s got it 😏
Rae brings a contagious “let’s do it” attitude to every session. No fuss. No drama. Just consistent effort, curiosity, and a genuine love for the process, which is exactly how strong, resilient ultra runners are made.
We’ve got a feeling Rae is only just getting started on her ultra journey, and we cannot wait to watch her light it up at Tarawera Ultra 100k and Ring of Fire 60k early next year.
We love your vibe, Rae. You’re an absolute weapon and a bloody great addition to the InnerFight community.
