The InnerFight Way

Last weekend we took our 18 InnerFight coaches away for our annual Coaches' Summit. Most organisations use these occasions to mix in various objectives. They discuss finances, brand strategy, marketing, motivation and normally try to incorporate some team-building exercises.

We approached our summit in a similar way that we approach training. If you have one hour a day to train, it is difficult to train for a fast marathon and a heavy back squat at the same time. The two need and deserve individual time and focus. They cannot be mixed.

We spent the entire summit talking about coaching. Why we coach, what we want to be as coaches and how we want to deliver world-class coaching. The coaches led the sessions, the coaches expressed who they are as coaches and why they are the best in their industry. It was insanely powerful and an honour to be part of.

One of my biggest reflections has been around what results we may get in various areas of our lives if we give things singular focus and stop trying to mix many things together. What if we live “unmixed”?

No Weakness.
