Experience Racing Tourism with InnerFight Endurance

As an expat for many years, I've always enjoyed having an "excuse" to travel. Racing in a new city or country brings a different feeling - more excitement and intent around the race itself, regardless of the race goal. It’s got a catchy name, too: racing tourism.

The Birth of IFE on Tour: A New Approach to Racing Tourism

After successful trips to Milan Marathon in 2022 and New York Marathon later that year, we realized we could share this experience with a wider pool of clients. Thus, IFE on Tour was born in April 2023, with 15 clients, Marcus, and I heading to Vienna for our first official racing tourism adventure: taking on the marathon and half marathon.

The Concept: Simple and Effective

True to InnerFight's brand values, the concept of IFE on Tour is extremely simple. We select a destination race every 6 months, clients enter the race, and then we train and travel together for the event.

Our racing tourism weekend experience encompasses team dinners, coffees, a shake-out run, and the race itself. While athletes can opt in and out of social plans, we recommend leaning into as many as possible to get the most out of the adventure.

Building Community Through Running

Our goal is to ensure that we can help and support one another, keeping racing and travelling fun. Marathons require hard work and mental toughness, regardless of the race day goal. Through the InnerFight community and camaraderie, we believe that our IFE onTour experiences help clients smash life and get better at life through running.

To date, we have run IFE on Tour in Vienna, Amsterdam, Milan, and Munich. We hope to see you on the next one, as we continue to bring the InnerFight community to marathons around the world!
