The InnerFight Way

Recovery Is Not Passive

The moment we hear the word recovery, we feel like we are being forced to stop.
But good recovery is structured.

Things like sleep, mobility, nutrition and downtime should be built into life. They need space and their own energy.
They are a huge part of your performance, not a separate arm of it.

This time of year provides what we could call the recovery trap.

We go on holiday and fill our schedule with activities, returning more fatigued than when we left.
Or we think we have more time because work or family life is quieter, so our first step is to fill our schedule with more training sessions.

Get active with your recovery. Program it. Respect it.
If you do not, everything else degrades.

No Weakness,
Marcus
