Youth: CONOR BENSON
Conor Benson who is a member of our Teens program. Conor has been a consistent participant of our Teens classes for almost 2 years. In this time we have seen him work on mastering movements in order to move well and then continue to add weight and build strength in a safe way. He has been patient with the process which has paid off in recent moths and his abilities and strength continue to grow. Conor is an example to others in how mastering the basics will lead to increased progress and strength. Awesome work, Conor!
Endurance: KATIE MCINTYRE
Here's a few words from her coach Steph, “Humble and hardworking are two words that spring to mind when I think of Katie. She cruised through a sub 4 hour marathon in Dubai, despite facing injury and unexpected travel in the lead up to the race. Katie is a huge fan of the process and has quietly been playing the consistency game for quite some time now. Well done Katie, thoroughly deserved!”
Ladies Run Club: APOORVA PARMAR
We would like to announce that Apoorva is our February Athlete of the Month. Apoorva smashed her 12-week training block with LRC, and completed the Dubai Marathon! Well done, Apoorva, we are so glad you train with us.
Endurance - New Zealand: BARBANAS COOK
This is what her coach Zoe has to say, "Driven and determined are words that describe Barnabas' attitude towards training. Every time we plan the next phase of his training with added speed and distance he's excited to jump right in and work at max capacity to get the job done to a high standard. His goals are big and scary and he thrives off the challenges that come his way. He's well and truly in the depths of his Rotorua Marathon training; staying consistent, hitting key race simulation sessions hard, and enjoying the rest days & de load weeks."
