Members of the Month (April)

Congratulations to all the Members of the Month for April!
InnerFight: SCOTT BROWN
After a nasty shoulder injury Scott went all in on his rehab to avoid another surgery and has proved that the right training, rest and recovery is a great alternative to surgery! Not only is Scott back in mainline classes but back stronger than before and as always keeping everyone happy with his big friendly smile.
Youth: EBEN WARNER
Eben Warner, a member of our Teens+ program. In the eight months that Eben has been with us, he has been consistent with his training and has seen it pay off in increased strength and overall fitness level. He works hard in every class and his patience in mastering movements and building strength has led to significant progress in recent months. Awesome work, Eben!
Endurance: ADRIANA FERNANDEZ
Her coach Rob Jones says, "An athlete is truly test not when things are going well, but when they are going wrong.
Adriana had been carrying a long-term running injury that almost stopped her running. By committing to her strength work and trusting the process, she is now running better than ever and is on track to run Ultra X Tanzania, a 250km multistage ultra.
How she has handled this period is nothing short of inspirational and why she was voted Aprils athlete of the month."
Ladies Run Club: LUCY HUTCHINS
Lucy joined LRC towards the end of 2022 in order to bring structure to her marathon training block. Last Sunday, Lucy smashed her London Marathon goal and did the entire race with a smile on her face. Well done Lucy, thoroughly deserved MOTM!
Endurance - Ireland: SARAH MCCLURG
Sarah has never tried to complicate anything and has been diligent with the process. Sarah runs for the pure joy and leave’s ego at the front door. When Sarah signed up her goal was to complete Belfast marathon. Even with injury she proceeded to move forward, stay positive doing what she could at the time to recover without any doubt in her mind. She always shows great attitude and determination.
Sarah completed Belfast marathon yesterday with a huge smile on her face and continued to show us that running is about enjoyment of the journey.
Endurance - New Zealand: FLORENCE DOWSON
Florence always brings her A game and a smile to our track sessions, yoga nights, sunrise runs and trail recces. She loves any training session thrown her way and has learnt to tackle the hard sessions with a strong positive mindset and self belief. This month, she has been ramping up her speed and distance in preparation for a trail 1/2 marathon and her progress has been great to see, thanks to Flo being consistent and smart in her training. She has found a love for running again and is enjoying every part of it! We love having you as part of our community Flo and can't wait to see you smash your goals!
