InnerFight Endurance at RAK 76 & 113

The Ras Al Khaimah 76 & 113 triathlon hosted by Super Sport UAE, is a middle-distance event on the day before the more established Olympic and Super sprint races. The race shares the same roads as the famous RAK Half Marathon, except this race begins with a swim, from the Hilton Double Tree beach front.

A straightforward swim course in flat calm waters makes this race a popular one for beginners and more experienced athletes looking for a good hit out to start the year. It is also the only middle-distance triathlon currently available in the UAE.

Once out of the water, you transition onto the bike and into a very flat and fast course. A lot of turns and a few speed bumps are the only things that will slow you down on route.

Similar story with the run – it’s very flat and fast, except by the time you are running the heat plays a role in trying to slow you down. Never underestimate the heat here in the UAE once the sun is up!

Course support around the transition and finish area is strong, with lots of local clubs turning out to cheer on teammates. This race also allows relay teams: once the team mates have finished their leg of the triathlon, they get busy supporting their team mates to get over the line which adds to the atmosphere.
