Why We Should Behave More Like Children

As we grow up, we tend to lose that carefree and curious nature that we possessed as children.

We become jaded and cynical, causing us to miss out on the simple joys of life.

Children treat each day as a miracle. Everything leaves them in awe, and they are continually surprised. Life is new and shiny!

Every day, they eagerly embrace the opportunity to encounter life. Whether mimicking a peculiar word, jumping around to an unfamiliar song, trying a novelty food, or gently touching a furry animal, children show us the meaning of joyful exploration while finding innovative ways to express themselves physically and mentally. The world is continually unfolding before them, and they are completely present within each and every moment.

Next time you're feeling weighed down by the worries and responsibilities of adulthood, try channelling your inner child.

Ask yourself:

-How can I introduce more surprises into my life as an adult?

-How can I renew my sense of childlike wonder?

Cultivate curiosity, ask questions and wholeheartedly embrace new experiences, all while viewing the ordinary as extraordinary.

Climb that mountain, run up that hill, jump on that wall!
