has been created to give 11 year old Rio Watson who has severe special needs an experience of a life time.
On 7th November Rio will complete the Dubai International Triathlon, a half ironman race, where his father Nick will take him around the course which entails:
Swim for 1.9 km dragging Rio in a kayak.
Cycle the 90 km with Rio sat in an adapted disability seat on a specialised bike.
Run the 21 km pushing Rio in an adapted running wheelchair.
This is an incredible feat as Nick strives to give his son the same experiences as any other human being.
The event is made possible by Adventure HQ who are the principle sponsor and are supplying the special equipment needed to get Rio around the course.
Check out the Reaching You foundation that Nick has set up to help children with special needs.
