“I am getting old” is something I hear these days from a number of people. My immediate reaction is “Yeah, so what.”
Is age a legitimate excuse or is it just an excuse? What really happens to our bodies when we get older? and what should we be thinking about?
Of course if you look at all of the world records in various sports you can somehow age bracket them so there seems to be a certain time when we are at our athletic peak. However, that's only important if we are trying to set world records right.
