vc4a5hqQzYi5A3A6.jpgInnerFight has become a gold sponsor of Dubai Exiles Rugby Club signing a 3 year deal. Dubai Exiles is the region’s oldest rugby club and the founding club of the infamous Dubai Rugby Sevens. Alongside 2 mens teams and a veterans section, the Dubai Exiles have the strongest mini and youth rugby division in the region with over 23 teams from Under 5 to Under 18, including girls teams at the U12, U15 and U18 age groups. Outside of rugby the Dubai Exiles also run a netball section of over 100 young players. Full details can be found on their site here. InnerFight is an international fitness and performance company based in Dubai, delivering increased human performance across many platforms including: Group CrossFit strength and conditioning classes, endurance programming, preparing people for marathons, triathlons or even just being able to run one mile without stopping! Through www.innerfight.com they provide a platform containing a vast number of performance related articles, podcasts, training plans and Paleo food recipes. Marcus Smith the InnerFight founder is the former Vice Chairman of the Exiles and spent over 30 years playing rugby at the Club, as a professional in Australia and also for the Arabian Gulf RFU in the 2009 Rugby World Cup Sevens.  "I am delighted to have him and his team back on board at the Club in this way – he is an excellent role model for young rugby players on and off the pitch, and he has Exiles blood running through his veins." commented Mike Wolff, Chairman of Dubai Exiles. InnerFight has recently run training campaigns for the Dubai Exiles Under 10s, some of Under 16s and 18s via the Apollo Perellini Academy, and this year as part of their sponsorship programme it has worked closely with the Mens Section during their pre-season campaign. "To be working with one of the top rugby clubs in the region is very exciting for us. Whilst I was playing I saw a number of gaps in the way players are conditioned for rugby and their strength levels and this new relationship allows InnerFight to bring its expertise and knowledge to bear for the benefit of the Club. Having run strength and conditioning programs for the likes of UR7s and the Apollo Perellini Skills Academy we are confident going into this agreement with the Dubai Exiles that we can make a real difference to players of all age groups." Smith had to say at the release of the 3 year deal. *If you are a Dubai Exiles member please mail us for more information on Dubai Exiles exclusive offers.
