Gyms are great environments where we can simulate situations and train humans accordingly. The options are endless and real progress is made.
There is one small issue though. It’s called the safety net. It’s possibly one of the only negatives but it’s huge.
If you are tired or it’s not going your way you can stop and go home. If you don’t like the weight you are lifting you can make it easier.
Without due caution you start to make yourself weak because you know you can.
What if you couldn’t eat that day if you didn’t finish you workout correctly. What if you lost some of your possessions if you said “I’m just not feeling it today.”
Would you train differently and in turn get different results?
Use the gym, use all its benefits but don’t abuse it’s safety net or you may as well not use it at all.
