On march 3rd 2021 Corey will attempt to set a new world record for the worlds strongest marathon where he will pull a 1.8t car a distance of 42.2km. in under 17 hours.
Who is Corey?"I am Corey Phillpott, a 23 year old father and ultra extreme athlete. In my teenage years I played a high level of rugby league representing NSW, Cronulla & Illawarra Steelers. 6 years ago in 2015 in quit footy and got caught up in taking drugs and partying every weekend, on the benders with the boys. pretty. much addicted to MDMA and cocaine. You know you're addicted when you're taking it mid week. I lost track of what was important in life and lost my way of life which to me was fitness. I gained around 39kg in a year from not training and just bendering to escape reality that my life was going nowhere or not where I thought it would be.”
Corey will be taking on this challenge to support ChildSafe Australiahttps://www.childsafe.org.au/
