In November 2016 David Labouchere was our speaker at InnerTalks 13. He had the audience gripped with his story, his honesty and the way he delivered both. David spoke on the topic of energy and there is so much to learn from his experiences and this show. David spoke about:
Living until he will be 108
Real life war stories
Time frames for goals
Becoming the oldest world Ironman champion
WhatEnergymeans. Why having energy makes for happiness and how it affects your work and your contribution to everyone else’s life. The Art of the Possible. What energetic people can achieve. Becoming accountable, taking control. David Labouchere is a decorated former British Army officer, served his Country in almost every operational theatre over thirty years and was honoured personally by HM QEII on two occasions.
Now 53 years old he races at the highest level of Triathlon and has qualified for the World Championships in Kona, Hawaii four times.
Davids goal is to be the oldest age group World Champion in Ironman in history when he completes the Kona course in 2047, a title he intends to defend for as long as he can thereafter.
