This is a 4 episode series with Marcus Smith and Tom Walker where the shows are 15 minutes each and they will play out over the next 4 Sundays. If you are thinking to register for an ultra just do it. Click buy online and get ready to feel emotions you may not have felt before, it is epic. The next step is sorting out how you are going to prepare for the race. Let’s be honest from now you are going to need a set of legs and they are going to need to be strong. Many ultras have large amounts of climbing and descending and you need to be ready.
There are not many “urban ultras” where you are pounding the relatively flat pavements so take that into consideration. If you can make it work then get hold of a coach who has done a few of these as their help and guidance will be a massive value add. And finally no matter if it’s with a coach or just a friend make sure you understand what your goal of this ultra is, that is going to be super important for you and your sanity.
