Speciality: My specialty is CrossFit and how to implement CrossFit in to a persons training plan to help achieve their desired goals. These goals can include fat loss, improved health, increased muscle tone, improved fitness, sports performance and strength and conditioning. When implemented correctly, functional fitness training tackles multiple goals at once, making it the perfect choice for sustainable and healthy living.
I have a good knowledge of how a personalised diet plan and adjustments to a persons lifestyle can make huge improvements to their health and fitness.
I have been fortunate enough to be a member of the Crossfit Strongman seminar staff for the past 18 months, which has taken me all over the world. I love using ‘strongman’ movements as a very effective way of getting clients of any ability on the road to increased health and fitness quickly!
Personal achievements: My biggest achievement to date in Crossfit is finishing joint 1st in the 2014 Asia Regional and being crowed one of the fittest men in Asia. Aside from this I finished 14th in the 2013 European Regionals. I have also had top 10 finishes in other competitions including the 2013 London Throwdown, French Throwdown and Central Manchester Games. Outside of Crossfit I played Rugby Union for several years progressing to a semi-professional level.
Why I do what I do: I have always been very passionate about sport and exercise, as a kid I was on every sports team going. It took me a while to figure out what I really wanted to do with my life. At the age of 21 I was introduced to Crossfit and was immediately hooked! After Just a few sessions I knew that I wanted to be a full time Crossfit coach. I worked hard to finish my sports degree and get my qualifications and was fortunate enough to get a coaching job straight away. I love helping people achieve their fitness goals and seeing the positive effect it has on their lives, you can tell that it really makes a difference!
