Introducing Base Fitness – our new program of strength and conditioning classes that build confidence in working out, improve core strength and knock off a few kg’s!
Focusing on basic movement patterns and techniques such as squats, push ups and related exercises, the program is ideal for those who have had limited or no exposure to functional strength and conditioning in the past. The classes will be held upstairs at InnerFight, while the daily workout classes will continue to be held downstairs.
So what is Base Fitness?
Base Fitness is a program of strength and conditioning classes that have been created to build confidence in working out. Focusing on basic CrossFit movement patterns and techniques, the classes will introduce exercises to improve core strength and encourage weight loss – so you’ll move better as well as get fitter.
Our coaches will ensure you have mastered movements such as the squat, push up and related exercises, before adding intensity and volume – in order to properly prepare you for our mainline classes, and ensure complete safety and peace of mind.
Base Fitness will make fitness, working out and getting better at life, fun!
Is Base Fitness for me?
The program is ideal if you have had limited or no exposure to functional strength and conditioning in the past, as well as if you’re getting into fitness for the first time or after a long break. Similarly, it’s perfect if you’re returning to the gym or CrossFit after an injury, or suffering from a medical condition that limits your ability to exercise.
What can I expect?
This program looks at the fundamentals of movement and leads into strength and conditioning. It is based on our Road Map To Awesome approach to physical movement. We’ll first ensure you are able to move efficiently through common core exercise movements, and then take these exercises into a conditioning setting.
As part of the program we will also take you through your body analysis on our In Body machine and where required, provide you with nutritional advise.
How do I join?

How many people will be in the class?
In order to ensure safety and enjoyment, this class is limited to 12 people.
Is the class age limited?
No. We have 10-year-old children and 55-year-old adults in the class. Just check with our team for any clarifications.
Is the class for males and females?
Of course, both are more than welcome.
When does it take place and how long is it?
We will be offering three one-hour Base Fitness classes per week. These will take place on the following days:
- Saturday: 10am
- Monday and Wednesday: 7pm

1st floor at InnerFight HQ.
What is the cost of the classes?
There are three options available:
- Pay per class: AED 150
- Two classes per week: AED 1,000 per month (30 day validity)
- Three classes per week: AED 1,300 per month (30 day validity)
